THEORETICAL- PRACTICAL COURSE OF MINIMALLY INVASIVE 360º APPROACHES TO THE SKULL BASE
TRANSCRANIAL OPEN AND ENDONASAL PERSPECTIVES.

CONCEPT

Under the leadership of Dr. Caetano Coimbra, the minimally invasive 360° cranial base surgical approaches have been used and refined at the Baylor University Medical Center (Texas) Skull Base Surgery Center, associated with the concept of extradural dissection of this region, allowing the creation of short and free surgical corridors, restricting the direct manipulation of brain tissue.

The course will discuss critically and based on clinical cases, the different options of surgical access to the skull base. Renowned surgeons with great individual were selected the various pathologies addressed
